its time
it's time
that ticks away
second by second
idea by idea
the time of a butterfly
of a bird, of a cat
all the same
ticking away
each moment a beginning
each moment an ending
tragic or comic
earthly or cosmic
even the universe's clock is running
ever outward until what
dissolution, compression
or new big bang?
that everything began from
invisible massive point
exploding forming gasses
galaxies planets and
ultimately the human mind
telling stories of creation
